We offer a wide variety of health and wellness classes. Whether it’s a one-time event, yoga class, relaxing massage, or creative movement series – investing in our Urban Balance Corporate Wellness Program ensures a healthy, happy, productive workforce. Our classes vary from 15 minutes to 1 hour. We can customize a class or service according to your needs.
Yoga Classes
The purpose of yoga is to build strength and achieve harmony in the body, mind, and spirit. Awaken your greatest potential as you replace familiar routines with deeper self-awareness. The techniques incorporated in yoga can increase mental clarity and focus, reduce chronic pain, lower blood pressure, and increase flexibility. Our classes are mixed-level instruction appropriate for everyone from the beginner to seasoned practitioner.

Meditation
Mindfulness and Meditation teaches employees to be present and focused. Breathwork is a meditative activity that involves the conscious alteration of natural breathing patterns to promote self-awareness. The techniques are known to boost memory retention, improve productivity, stimulate creativity, and improve interpersonal skills.

Pilates Classes
Pilates is a system of exercises inspired by calisthenics, yoga and ballet. The physical benefits of Pilates include improvements in posture, flexibility, strength and balance. Employees also enjoy numerous mental and emotional benefits including improved memory and cognitive function, reduced stress, and improvements in mood and overall well-being. Our classes are mixed-level instruction appropriate for everyone from the beginner to the seasoned practitioner.

Movement Classes
Movement classes are designed to address poor posture, stiffness, neck and back pain prevalent in a modern, sedentary life. If you’re easily bored with traditional exercise – this is for you! Our movement classes are unique, creative, and engaging. You’ll leave the class feeling relaxed, energized, and more focused. Our classes are mixed-level instruction appropriate for everyone from the beginner to the seasoned practitioner.

Massage
Chair massage is easily implemented into the workplace as it doesn’t require a large physical space. In addition to its convenience, chair massage offers numerous mental and emotional benefits including reduced stress, decreased anxiety, enhanced overall mood and increased energy. The stress-relieving benefits of chair massage can help the workplace as a whole, as well as individuals. Table massage is available upon request.

Nutrition
The benefits of good nutrition go far beyond weight. Good nutrition can help reduce the risk of heart disease, diabetes, stroke, certain cancers, and osteoporosis. Our goal is to teach employees how to harness the numerous benefits of a healthy diet and gain a deeper understanding of the foods they eat while igniting a passion for cuisine in a fun, creative environment.

Zumba is a high-energy, total body dance fitness class set to Latin and other international music that’s designed to get participants moving, sweating, and having fun. Through a mix of both low and high-intensity moves, Zumba combines all elements of fitness including cardio, muscle conditioning, balance, and flexibility into a creative interval-style workout.
Gyrokinesis®
The Gyrokinesis® Method combats the daily stresses of prolong sitting. It reduces stiffness, improves flexibility, stimulates the nervous system, increases range of motion and creates functional strength through rhythmic, flowing movements.

The Ellové Technique® is a non-impact conditioning class designed to strengthen and rejuvenate the body through the pure techniques of ballet, yoga, fitness, and Pilates. The Ellové Technique’s use of therapeutic principles improves posture, balance, strength, and flexibility.
